Welcome to We Like Two Cook! We’re Celine and Leah, twin sisters who love cooking and baking. For us, there is little better than kneading bread dough, whipping up cake batter, or chopping some vegetables! We are seniors in college— Leah is a Biology major, and Celine is double majoring in Environmental Studies and English. Celine takes most of the photos you’ll see here and usually shoots with a Canon Rebel T3 with a 50 mm f/1.8 lens (and oftentimes, when she accidentally leaves her camera at school, an iPhone pic will make an appearance).
We live with our parents and four younger brothers: twins who are sophomores in college, Andrew and Justin; one who is a high school junior, Luke; and one who is in sixth grade, Henry. Most of the food on this blog is eaten by them, usually when we want them to and sometimes when we don’t!
All the recipes that we post are what we consider reliable and should also work for you in your kitchen. We use recipes from some of the blogs we follow, as well as cookbooks (this is cited in the recipe). We’ll occasionally develop our own recipe if we feel inspired to do so, or if we cannot find the recipe we want online. None of our recipes use super-fancy/obscure equipment, because we don’t have that either! A stand mixer, food processor, and kitchen scale are three things that we consider must-haves— but no one needs a mini pie maker/electric can opener/deep fryer.

Thank you! Our only exception to the ‘fancy equipment’ rule is our KitchenAid mixer. Other than that, most of our equipment is from Target and Home Goods and it all works fine! I hope you enjoy our next few posts coming up!
